Laxmi Memorial College of Hotel Management was started under Laxmi Memorial Education Trust in 2008. The college was started with an objective of providing the opportunity for students to obtain knowledge in a variety of disciplines related to the hotel industry and to provide an educational foundation for a range of administrative, operational and management careers in the hospitality industry. The college is affiliated to Mangalore University and offering 3 yr BSc.(H.S) programme.

Annual Sports meet-2024

LMCHM Annual sports meet 2024 was conducted on 12^th, 14^th and 19^th November 2024 in AJ institute .Several events were conducted like running race, shortput, Discuss throw, javelin throw and long jump. Indoor sports meet 2024 was conducted on 13^th November 2024 in the college auditorium. Several games were conducted like chess, carom, table tennis and ludo

A Guest talk on “Prevention of sexual harassment
at the workplace”

The Women Anti-Harassment Committee had organized talk on topic “Prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace” on 23^rd October 2024 at 02:30pm in College Auditorium. The key speaker invited was Prof. Mahesh chandra Nayak, Associate Professor who is working in SDM Law College and centre for PG studies and research in Law. Resource person was welcomed by Ms. Shreya B, Women Anti-Harassment Committee Co-Ordinator by offering a flower Bouquet. Then Prof. Maheshchandra Nayak explained about the Prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace. Memento was handed over to Prof. Maheshchandra Nayak at the end of the program by Principal Prof. Prasanna Shetty.

I am Student of Laxmi Memorial College of Hotel Mgt. 2010 -13 Batch It gives me immense pleasure to be a part of this institution and as I look back today I owe the credit to my bright career and growth to the Faculty members of LMCHM. It is due to their guidance that I have the confidence to deal with the challenges of the Hotel Industry on a day to day basis and a strong foundation with regards to the knowledge of Basics of the Hospitality Industry.
